Equipping a Birth Clinic in Congo
In Kasombojan, 1,000 km to the north-west of Lubumbashi in the interior of the Congolese Katanga province, we run a large cow farm with about 2,000 animals. The proceeds are largely used to cover part of the ordinary budget of our communities in the Congo as well as for the benefit of the local population. In this way, we managed to build and run a primary school and a dispensary.
Our latest achievement is the construction of a birth clinic. The building is finished and the budget for the furnishings and medical tools has been drafted. The total cost of the equipment will be over 60,000 euro. We hope to cover a substantial part of these expenses with the help of donor institutions, but we need your help to bring together at least 10 per cent of the total sum! |
